Octopus, a Fast and User-friendly Tomography Reconstruction Package Developed in LabView

ABSTRACT

A new software package was developed for tomographic reconstruction of parallel beam projection data. It has been used for X-ray microtomography, neutron tomography and element sensitive tomography. We will describe the innovative possibilities of the program and investigate its performance in terms of speed and quality of the reconstruction.
