ABSTRACT
In this paper we consider estimation of air volume fraction distribution by electrical impedance tomography. In the estimation we utilize internal electrodes. We concentrate on a situation in which we have different contrast ratios in conductivity distribution. Based on a mapping between the conductivity and the volume fraction the latter can be estimated. The results show that the exploitation of internal electrodes improves the estimates of the volume fraction.
