Regularization Based Image Reconstruction for Electrical Capacitance Tomography

ABSTRACT

Image reconstruction of electrical capacitance tomography (ECT) is a typical inverse problem due to non-linearity and ill-posedness. In this paper, most of the regularization tools developed for the inverse problem are applied to image reconstruction of ECT. The simulation results show promise for ECT image reconstruction by regularization methods. The non-linearity and ill-posedness of ECT image reconstruction are also discussed.
