A CGSPSO Border Gray Compensation Algorithm for Electrical Capacitance Tomography System

ABSTRACT
Base on explaining progressive optimalorder theory of the solving of inverse problems for Electrical Capacitance Tomography(ECT), elaborated on necessity of edge gray compensation algorithm after solving the inverse problem of ECT and proved that the conjugate gradient method to meet the progressive optimalorder theory. Further proposed a CGSPSO border gray compensation algorithm for Electrical Capacitance Tomography, the algorithm first using the conjugate gradient algorithm for solving the inverse problem of ECT and then image reconstruction, and use Graham scanning method to determine gray border, last, secondorder particle swarm algorithm to determine the gray scale to compensate. The experimental results show that the algorithm is very effective, and can greatly improve the stability of image reconstruction and improve the quality of image reconstruction. Compensated image quality is much better than the LBP algorithm and conjugate gradient algorithm and provides a new and effective ways for ECT.
