An ECT reconstruction algorithm based on Constrained Least-Square

ABSTRACT
In this article, we transform the ECT image reconstruction question into constrained Least-Square. Because the dimension is high for our question, the commonly used algorithm is unable to be realized on computer. A new solution aimed at the particularities of ECT is provided, so we can avoid the Hessian matrix commonly used for solving the problem to complete the algorithm on computer. In the end, we make numerical test based on several typical images, and numerical results indicate that this algorithm is feasible, and quality of the reconstructed images is enhanced remarkably.
