A Dual Modality Mesh Sensor for Three Phase Flow Measurement

ABSTRACT

Resistance mesh sensor and capacitance mesh sensors have been used as independent modality to measure flows with conductivity contrast or permittivity contrast. In this paper, we propose a dual modality mesh sensor that can measure both conductive and dielectric components. Simulation and initial experimental results have suggested it has potential for three phase flow measurement.
