Tomographic Raw Data – measurement and analysis, fundamental terms

Abstract

The article organizes the terms used to describe the methodology of interpretation and analyzing of tomographic raw data in process tomography systems. The issues of measurements and raw data analysis in ECT sensor study are discussed. The authors describe the interpretation of the raw data for the metrological evaluation of ECT sensor. In this aspect the measurement uncertainty is the key feature during process of selection of data acquisition and instrumentation systems. The analysis of measurement uncertainty is discussed and its affecting on the quality of results and the construction process of the sensor.
