Abstract
Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) has been the focus of many researches in recent years and had significant progress in medical and industrial problems. The images in EIT are partly sparse. Using this specification, it may possible to exploit the advantages of compressive sensing (CS) in EIT reconstruction. The CS technique is a sampling method based on the sparsity. Using CS theory sparse signals and images can be reconstructed from incomplete information which is assumed to be unreconstructable by other methods. To enhance the sparsity of EIT images this paper suggests an approach based on utilising wavelet basis. The simulation demonstrates that CS reconstruction algorithm based on wavelet gives promising results.
