Abstract

A quantification scheme is used to analyse a three-phase bubble column using the error estimates. The results incorporate second Kanpur Theorem (KT-2) which is “global” in nature. It guarantees the reconstruction error to be of precise order if the function belongs to certain class of Sobolev spaces. This study uses different number of data-rays 48, 96, 192 and 384 and the convolution back-projection algorithm. A sharp Hamming filter, H99, is used here for all the cases. The concept of KT-2 signature helps in characterizing these cross-sections and prediction about the flow patterns.
