ABSTRACT
A flexible geometry gamma-ray tomography (FGGT) has been built for low cost experimental evaluation of geometries for gamma-ray tomography on different applications. This utilizes one source, one detector and a set of motor driven boards. In this paper, we describe the development of software to control the scanning procedure, acquire and reconstruct data. This involves the generation of an automatic weight matrix used in the inverse problem in the computed transmission tomography.
Keywords Tomography geometry design, gamma-ray tomography, image reconstruction.
