ABSTRACT
Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) offers a non-intrusive method to measure the resistivity distribution within a domain. This paper focuses on applying this technique to monitor air bubbles in pulp flow. The cross-sectional image is reconstructed by Modified Newton-Raphson algorithm. Sinusoidal excitation and DC pulse excitation are implemented in the prototype system. Preliminary results show that the air bubbles can be identified in the pulp.
