ABSTRACT

A new beam line was developed and built at the high power electron linac of the Ghent University for tomographic purposes. It will be used for polychromatic γ-tomography and for element specific, high spatial resolution tomography. In this paper we will discuss the latest progress and results for high resolution element specific tomography. First we will give an overview of the facility and the geometry of the set-up and then we will give an overview of the simulation software for the beam line. Finally we will present some experimental results of element sensitive tomography to demonstrate the power of the NDT technique.
