ABSTRACT
The distributed X-ray source is a novel multi-beam source, which consists of carbon nanotube cathode X-ray generator units. It provides the advantages of compact structure, impulse response and programmable control over conventional X-ray tube. In our research, we replace traditional X-ray source in dynamic computed tomography with linear multi-focus distributed X-ray source which consists of hundreds individual X-ray generators based on carbon nanotubes(CNTs) cathode emitters. In this paper, numerical simulation and iterative algorithms were studied to solve the distributed X-ray source dynamic CT image reconstruction problem. A distributed X-ray source dynamic CT experiment system was constructed for preliminary experiments of detection ability in dynamic imaging.
